Hi!
I'm so happy with the 0.15 version, works like a charm and finally can use my linux machines :)
Yet i found a very specific problem: with the daily build (17 July) of Bledner 2.79 on both machines every render gives less percentage to the second node, ending in giving just a pixel wide area to render.
Main machine runs windows 10 and the conflicting one manjaro linux (based on arch linux).
By the rule of the thumb the second node has 80% of the power of the first one.
On another try with another machine with windows 7 and a 20% of the power of the main machine every render gives more % to the second one (the 20% one) until the main machine renders a pixel wide...
I guess problems with daily builds are to be expected, but is there any way i can set the balance manually? That way I could eyeball the appropriate workloads and use crowdrender with the daily build which I need because of adaptative subdivision.
Hi Botoni :)
Glad you have been able to get 015 to work. This is an odd situation, I'd really like to know more about it. I can tell you how to override the weights that are given to each computer, however, the issue is that the system will overwrite these weights after each render, so we'll likely need to find out what is going on with your setup. It may be a software bug.
If you can e-mail us at info at crowdrender dot com dot au we can grab your log files from you and start investigating.
