Hi bimbo_master, sorry for the delay, we've released the linux version to a select few for testing, we've been delayed in getting it to the general community. That is going to happen though, I'm estimating a couple of weeks at this stage, this is mainly due to me and Jeremy being part time on crowdrender as we have day jobs, I've quit mine though so in about two weeks I'll be working on this full time!

Hi everyone! I've commited to downloading and installing Kubuntu on a machine in my posession. Soon we will have the linux build, there are some tests I have to do that really only can be done by us to make sure we're not taking this concept of an alpha too far ;) You should be testing whether features work for you, not doing actual dev work!

Yes, I just replied with the results on my tests using two linux machines, I was able to install even using a custom build that I compiled friday, but couldn't make the machines connecting through CR. I send two files to James with logs from blender terminal hoping it has enough info useful to you. Thanks for all.

We sent you an email today with a linux build of CrowdRender attached. As James said we don't have any linux machines to test it on so if you could give it a try and leave us any relevant feedback that'd be appreciated.

Hey! Yes, we're going to release this on linux for sure, in fact if you could help us test it (i don't have access to a linux machine at the moment) that would help. I have your e-mail, so if you are happy to, I'll send you a zip file via e-mail, you can test it and if it works reasonably well, we'll release it here on the site :D
