hallo,
i render equirectangular panoramas for virtual tours.
like this:
https://wisocast.at/galerien/muster_cc/index.html
but it seems that it is not possible to set the camera to panoramas/equirectangular when crowdrender is selected in the render engine.
is that true?
regards,
wiso
Please reach out for support if you need us :) I'd like to make sure you can render it with Crowdrender for sure!
no, i am sory, as i remember there is no one rendered with crowdrender. but i tested crowdrender in different variations of machines local and with servers and it worked very good. i will try to make the next ones with crowdrender. and, if they are finished and published, i would be glad you share it and use it as promotion for you. hope it should be at least till end of november...
thx, wiso
here ist the link to the temporary, unfinished work.
https://wisocast.at/galerien/bethmann21/index.html
it is processed as a website and a 360° virtual tour.
the panos/renderings are now 12x6k . at least they should be higher (if possible 24x12k).
thx for your interest,
wiso
p.s.: the galery 3d blender model i have not made myself, i bought it.
oh, my mistake! thank you,
regards,
wiso
Hi there, ahhhhh, I think I know what that is :)
I think what has happened here is that the images for the pictures are not packed into your blend file?
You might want to read this section of our docs for configuring a project that uses external files for textures, animation data (cache) or other blend files (like when you like or append).
Use the table of contents links to quickly navigate to "configuring projects for rendering" which explains how to deal with issues like this where external assets are used in your scene.
no, sorry does´nt work correct. some pictures on the wall wont be shown. instead there is a red area there. sometimes - like in this case - it is one, sometimes there are be missing more pictures. ( the pics are imported as "images as planes".

wiso
thanks james, with latest version 0.4.1. it seems to work with equirectangular panoramas.
best regards,
wiso
Thanks! Will check it out.
new try:
if you render the pic (f12) with cycles it is an equirectangular panorama. if you switch to crowdrender it dont render in in this way, (and the adjustment possibilitys in the camera for "panorama" are missing.)
thank you for your effort,
wiso
seems the file is to big to upload... i will make another one in good times to demonstrate
hello james,
thank you. i hope the file is not to big...
if you render the pic (f12) with cycles it is an equirectangular panorama. if you switch to crowdrender dont wort to render, and the adjustment possibilitys in the camera for "panorama" are missing.
G'day Wiso,
I've not used equirectangular before, but if you have an example blend file you are more than welcome to add upload one here and I'll have a look and see what the issue is.
James
