I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong as this is my first time using this add-on. I'm using both my Mac and my pc synced to render. That part seems fine as they both see each other. The problem is when the picture finally pops up, it's half done and acts like there is still something left to render.
I've included a screen shot so others can see what's going on. I do have the cycles render selected before I start.
Do I need to have an output folder that both have access to save the file? Do I need both computers running Blender and have the same file loaded before starting? Or does Blender need to be exited on the 2nd computer?
Thanks!
I was having the same problem rendering on iMacs. I'm not sure if this helped, but what I did was MAKE SURE any of the Mac's Power Saving settings are OFF! Including the Node you are rendering from!! No sleep... No Hard Drive Spin Down... Ect. I did this and I finally got my animation to render all the way.
Hi Jenny, from the looks of it, you're not doing anything wrong as far as I can tell. It might be good to see some more information, are you able to start blender from terminal? The output from Blender during all operations can generate useful information in the terminal that can aid in debugging. Also would you be open to sending us your log files? We can do some investigation without your help with this information.
If it turns out we can't replicate the problem, the next step we go to is to grab your blend file and try it for ourselves, or do a video conference with you to see the problem happening via screen share.
Please consider sending us the log files by e-mail, and the output of the terminal (we can help show you how to open terminal and launch blender if you like). We'll start there.
Kind Regards
James
