I use CR in local network.
Both machines are Linux and everything works just fine.
My only problem is: when I close Blender and turn it on again, all settings are gone. I have to add my seccond machine, set up which devices should be used and so on..
Is there any way to keep those settings? So each time I start Blender I have all the machines with proper devices and correct load balance set up?
Hi there!
Load balancing is saved
Nodes are saved.
Compute devices are NOT saved - have to manually turn off CPU for each node when GPU computation is ON.
I don't know if it's a good behavior, but it needs me to press "Connect" and confirm IP address for remote node. It does not sync by itself. Not a big problem - just mentioning.
Hi Adrian :) Sorry for taking a few days to reply.
Settings for your nodes are actually properties of the scene in Blender. Custom properties to be exact. So, in order to keep your settings, you could setup your default scene with Crowdrender the way you want it each time you start Blender, then, save your startup file.
Try this, and let me know how it works for you :)
