Building your own render farm

Hey there beloved blender users :) another blog post here and this time we're showing how to use crowdrender to build a render farm at home using whatever computers you can get your hands on.

In this video I demonstrate how to quickly create a render farm using the crowdrender add-on and also show how and why its a good idea to upgrade your RAM if you are going to be spending money on new hardware.

The hardware I used in this video was bought second hand online for the purpose of showing you can actually use older hardware to build a render farm that still has an impact. I managed to half my render time in this case for the Mike Pan benchmark.
